Welcome to the Alexandria Figure Skating Club!

The Alexandria Figure Skating Club (AFSC) Skates out of the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria, MN.

AFSC offers Group Learn to Skate USA lessons for skaters learning to skate, and also private lessons for skaters advanced beyond the Learn to Skate USA Curriculum. We welcome skaters from Alexandria and all surrounding communities in west central Minnesota - from Sauk Centre to Morris, Willmar to Parkers Prairie and beyond, we welcome you to skate with us!

Please see the calendar for private and class ice times.  Registration forms are available to download. Please email your registration form to kjuettner02(at)gmail.com or mail it to the address on the contact page. Remember, you must have completed an AFSC membership form and paid your membership fees for 2019-2020 season before you may skate on any AFSC ice.

We do have some skate rentals available and can help fit skaters. Please contact a board member for more details on our rental program. We only have a limited number of skates available, so contact us early if you are interested.

***SPRING 2019 PRIVATE ICE CHANGE***  THURSDAY, MAY 9, 2019 - THERE WILL BE NO PRIVATE ICE THIS EVENING.  IT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY MAY 30, 2019 (same ice times).  The original plan was to have two sheets of ice in operation, but due to some Triple AAA Hockey, the RCC is down to only one rink.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  If this is a conflict, please let Kris Juettner know and you will receive a credit or voucher for ice times for the future.

Weather Related Announcements - Generally the AFSC does not cancel ice due to the weather. However, in the event that the ice times are cancelled due to the weather, AFSC will send out email notification via the AFSC Mailing List with the details of the cancellation, and if possible local media outlets will be notified as well.
