Awake the Grapes

Alexandria Figure Skating Club and the Alexandria Kiwanis are excited to bring to you the third annual Awake the Grapes 10K, 5K run! This event will take place on the beautiful grounds of Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria, MN.

Proceeds from this run will go to the Alexandria Figure Skating Club to help support the aspirations of the figure skaters and to benefit children in the Alexandria Lakes Area. Each racer participating in the 10K and 5K will receive a Awake the Grapes long sleeved t-shirt if registered online by midnight on May 15, 2013.

Onsite registration will be open, shirts will not be available at onsite registration.

2013 Schedule

8:30 - 9:45 am Registration/Chip pick up
10:00 am - 10K Race start
10:15 am - 5K Race start

Awards

Medals will be presented to the top 2 places in each age range for male and female runners participating in the 10K and 5K races. Overall top male and female awards presented for 10K and 5K races.

Course

10K Course will take runners through the Carlos Creek Winery property and Vineyards then out to County Road 34, around Lake Ida, up County Road 61, to County Road 34 and back to Carlos Creek Winery.

5K Course will take runners around the Carlos Creek Winery property and through the onsite Vineyards.

Each course will have paved, gravel and cross-country terrain.
