2022 Winter Private Ice

** New for the 2021-2022 Season – ALL Private Ice skaters (no matter what level or lesson type) that are NOT taking group lessons MUST complete the separate membership form prior to taking the ice for the season** Membership will no longer be available on the Private Ice forms.  Click here to view the AFSC Private Ice User LTS/USFS Membership Form and complete for the season.  If you have questions or are unsure of your membership status, please ask.  The membership year for Learn to Skate USA and US Figure Skating runs July 1 – June 30. 

The 2022 Winter Private Ice Session (with ice times available on Thursday, Sunday and Monday evenings) starts January 6, 9 and 10, 2022 and goes 8 weeks through February 24, 27 and 28, 2022.  Detailed ice times are as follows:

THURSDAYS, January 6 – February 24, 2022

  • 6:15-7:15pm       Lo/FS/Hky/Moves
  • 7:15-8:15pm       Int/FS

SUNDAYS, January 9 – February 27, 2022 (Note: ice will be in the West Rink from 5:15-7:00pm and the RCC from 7:30-9:30pm)

  • 5:15-6:15pm       Lo/FS/Hky
  • 6:15-7:00pm       Aspire (Sunday Group Lesson)
  • 7:30-8:30pm       Int/FS/Moves   
  • 8:30-9:30pm       HI/FS

MONDAYS, January 10 – February 28, 2022

  • 8:15-9:15pm       Open/FS

ICE TIME DESCRIPTIONS
Lo/FS/Moves/Hky
: Private Ice for skaters in Basic 1 thru No Test, hockey skaters & PrePre & Up working on MOVES only.
Int/FS: Private ice time for skaters in Basic 5 & Up to practice or receive lessons on. Moves included.
HI/FS: Open to any skater at a Freeskate 1 level or above. Moves included.
OPEN/FS: Open to any skater taking private lessons at any level.
Aspire (Sunday Group Lesson ONLY)
: Basic 4 & Up. Sunday nights from 6:15-7:00pm (45 minutes).  This class will be focusing on figure skating disciplines (Artistry in Motion, Dance, Synchro, Theater on Ice) that cover skills found in individual and group programs.
*Aspire programing is new from US Figure Skating and facilitates an athlete’s journey from a skater to a figure skater. Details on the complete Aspire group classes package can be found on the 2022 ASPIRE (Learn to Skate) Group Lesson Registration page. Private Ice skaters can choose to participate in just the Sunday night component (registration on this Private Ice page).

REGISTRATION IS DUE BY January 5, 2022.  A $10 late fee will be applied if registration is received after the 1/5/22 deadline.

Please note re: Covid-19:  Any regulations regarding Covid-19 will be followed as guided by the Governor’s Executive Orders, CDC and City of Alexandria.

Save a copy of your confirmation email for your records. If you chose the Payment Plan Option via credit/debit card you will be going back to our Registration & Payments page by February 7, 2022 to pay your second half registration fees. Thank you!
