2021 Summer PRIVATE ICE Registration

** New for the 2021-2022 Season – ALL Private Ice skaters (no matter what level or lesson type) that are NOT taking group lessons MUST complete the separate membership form prior to taking the ice for the season** Membership will no longer be available on the Private Ice forms.  Click here to view the AFSC Private Ice User LTS/USFS Membership Form and complete for the season.  If you have questions or are unsure of your membership status, please ask.  NOTE:  If you are a member of AAHA, your club membership with them does NOT cover your membership with Learn to Skate USA as we are two separate organizations. You MUST complete the AFSC Private Ice User LTS/USFS Membership Form.

The 2021 Summer Private Ice Session (with ice times available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings) starts June 14-15 & 17, 2021 and goes weekly through August 31, 2021.  Detailed ice times are as follows:

  • MONDAYS (Note time change in August, 11 weeks total)
    • June 14-July 26, 2021 (7 weeks)
      • 6:45-7:15pm      Aspire Class Instruction (Combined with Group Lesson students -7 weeks only) Regular and *New* Advanced Instruction – See description below.
      • 7:30-8:30 pm     Lo/FS/Moves/Hky
      • 8:30-9:30 pm     Int/FS
    • August 2-August 30, 2021 (4 weeks, no ice August 16 during County Fair)
      • 6:00-7:00 pm     Lo/FS/Moves/Hky
      • 7:00-8:00 pm     Int/FS
    • June 15-August 31, 2021 (11 weeks, no ice August 17 during County Fair)
      • 6:00-7:00 pm     Lo/FS/Hky
      • 8:15-9:15 pm     Int/FS
    • June 17-August 26, 2021 (10 weeks, no ice August 19 during County Fair)
      • 6:00-7:00 pm     Lo/FS/Moves/Hky
      • 7:00-8:00 pm     Int/FS

: Private Ice for skaters in Basic 1 thru No Test, hockey skaters & PrePre & Up working on MOVES only.
INT/FS: Private ice time for skaters in Basic 5 & Up to practice or receive lessons on. Moves included.
Aspire Class Instruction:
  Open to private skaters Basic 4 & up (*NEW* Advanced instruction for Freeskate 3-6, & Pre-Preliminary & Up).  Keep up on learned skills in a group setting!  Explore figure skating techniques to take your skating to the next level following the Aspire curriculum including edges, power, jumps, spins, Artistry in Motion, Theater on Ice, etc.  Advanced skaters will work on technique, power, turns, spin variations, connecting movements & jumps (split, walley, spread eagle, etc).

REGISTRATION IS DUE BY June 11, 2021.  A $10 late fee will be applied if registration is received after the 6/11/21 deadline.

Punch Cards will be available to buy and use this summer.

Please note re: Covid-19:  Any regulations regarding Covid-19 will be followed as guided by the Governor’s Executive Orders, CDC and City of Alexandria.

Save a copy of your confirmation email for your records. If you chose the Payment Plan Option via credit/debit card you will be going back to our Registration & Payments page by July 5, 2021 to pay your second half registration. Thank you!
