This is a follow-up to our previous post regarding the rink closure through December 18, 2020 (see the link under “Latest News” for specifics). We have a few more details regarding the raffle fundraiser, credits for cancelled ice and classes, and how we will be proceeding after the rink opens back up.
Raffle – All raffle tickets must be turned in by Monday, November 30, 2020. We will have a board member/volunteer parked outside the south doors at the rink to collect tickets on Sunday, Nov. 29 from 3:00-4:00pm and on Monday, Nov. 30 from 5:30-6:30pm. If you cannot make either of these two times, please contact Nicole Arvidson (218-639-7880) prior to Nov. 30th to make alternate arrangements. The drawing will happen as scheduled on December 13 via Facebook Live. Winners will be contacted and checks mailed. Prizes for high sellers will also be mailed.
Clothing Orders – Orders are scheduled to be completed by December 7, 2020. We will be in touch as to how you can pick up your order.
Cancelled Ice, Group Lessons and Holiday Exhibition – The club will determine credits for cancelled group lessons and cancelled private ice at the end of December or after the rink re-opens. Those registered for a solo/duet/trio/etc. or Santa Number in the Holiday Exhibition will be contacted directly regarding a refund of their payment.
Private Ice – A reminder to those skating on the Sunday and Monday Private Ice sessions. If the rink reopens after December 18, note there is still ice on Sunday, Dec. 20 and Monday, Dec. 21 as a part of the Fall-Winter Session. Ice times will be slightly different – please look at the club calendar for specifics.
Winter Group Lessons – The next 8-week session of group lessons is scheduled for a tentative start date of January 10-11, 2021. We hope to have registration available mid to late December, however timing is dependent on the pandemic. Please do your part to help curb the number of Covid-19 cases so we can get back to skating and other activities soon.
